The Uncharted Movie Script Is Finished
The Uncharted movie script is finished, according to screenwriter Joe Carnahan. He shared a picture on his Instagram profile, featuring a movie script with the title “Uncharted”. This is great news for all the Uncharted fans and we sincerely hope that that the movie will be done right. You can check his Instagram picture and profile HERE.
Done and dusted. Now the REAL work begins. If there’s a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, ‘cuz this thing is a BEAST.
Let’s just hope that he is right, since we haven’t seen a good movie inspired by a video game in a long time. It will be interesting to see which actor will take the lead as Nathan Drake.
Until now, there were five Uncharted games released: Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves, Drake’s Deception, Golden Abyss and A Thief’s End. There is definitely more than enough material for a great movie story. Uncharted 4: The lost Legacy DLC was also announced recently, and it will feature Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. The story will take place in India, as they are searching for the Tusk of Ganesha. Shawn Levy has signed on to direct the movie, and hopefully he will make an unforgettable action film. He is known for Real Steel, Night at the Museum and many more movies.
The Uncharted games are third person action games with a lot of platforming, jumping, grabbing ledges and swinging from ropes while searching for an ancient treasure. Great storytelling was always the key element in every Uncharted title, and some of them even featured different multiplayer modes.
