Place Vial of Purified Quicksilver on the Table Diablo 4 Witch of the Wastes Bug Fix

To fix the Diablo 4 Witch of the Wastes Place Vial of Purified Quicksilver on the Table quest step bug, you will have to do the quest over again. So, hit Esc (or whatever opens the pause menu on your platform) and select Leave Game. Not Exit Diablo, mind you. Next, go back into the game and you should begin the quest from the top, or at least from before the point of no return, so to speak. See, the actual cause of the bug is teleporting after killing Valtha and collecting the Purified Quicksilver. So, do not teleport back to Donan. Instead, walk or ride back and hand in the quest.

Yes, the cause of the bug in the Witch of the Wastes Place Vial of Purified Quicksilver on the Table quest step in Diablo 4 is that your character just drops the vial if they teleport. The thing then promptly disappears; you can’t return and collect it again. You simply have to start that part of the quest over, and that’s what the relogging is for. I know, it’s really aggravating, but it could be worse. At least you won’t get soft-locked. In fact, it seems that the game now straight-up warns you not to teleport, and if you do, it automatically takes you back to the step before. At least, that’s what happened to us. Not as much of a fix as a “Road Out” sign, but hey, better than nothing.
