Washington DC Hunters Locations in Division 2

Washington DC hunters are secret bosses in The Division 2. Although DC was already home to several hunters, the Warlords of New York expansion added several more – these are the ones we’ll be talking about here. Getting them to spawn is pretty convoluted, and they’re hellishly difficult. If you’re having trouble finding them, this guide will show you how to spawn Washington DC hunters in Division 2: WoNY.

If you’re looking for the hunters on the new map, check out our Warlords of New York hunters locations guide – that one only covers the NY locations.

Generator hunter location – Downtown East

There’s a pair of hunters you can spawn in Downtown East. Your first task is to go to the holiday market at Judiciary Square. Look for the American Bar & Grill stand on the far left side. There’s a big red present in front of it, with a smaller blue one on top of it. Open the blue present and you’ll get a generator key.

Then you have to visit the holiday market south of the White House. Once you’re inside the circular area, look for a toy soldier, some giant candy canes and presents stacked in a pile next to a couple of containers. They’re in the northern part of the circular area. You’ll find another small blue box there, with another generator key inside.

Once you have both keys, go to the holiday market south of the District Union Arena in Downtown East. Wait for night to fall, then use the keys to activate the two generators – one on each side of the central stand, between the stalls. Follow the yellow cables leading from each generator to a lever, and pull them both. Then return to the central stand and push the newly revealed button to summon the two hunters.

Lion eyes hunter location – Constitution Hall

There’s a hunter that can spawn in the Constitution Hall area, and drop the Angel mask when defeated. In order to summon him, you’ll have to collect six lion eyes – diamonds hidden in refrigerators across town – then place then in Chinese lion statues in a specific order. We recommend collecting all the eyes before proceeding onto the statues.

The first pair of lion eyes can be found in a cafeteria north of the White House, northeast of the control point. It’s next to the espresso machine. The second pair is located in a donut shop in the northwestern part of West End, in the back room – it’s in a small fridge between the metal shelves and the row of big fridges with glass doors on the left.

The third one is at the Riverside Gas Station control point in West End. It’s next to the coffee machine by the window, and you don’t really have to clear the control point in order to get to it. The fourth pair of eyes is in Admiral Burger, the fast food joint in Downtown East, north of the safe house. You’ll find the fridge behind the counter.

The fifth pair is in the Noodle Bar in Judiciary Square, a bit northeast from the stronghold. Go through the kitchen and into the back, and look for the fridge on the right. The last one is in Constitution Hall, directly north from the safe house, in a fridge at Kerman’s.

Now comes the statue part. You need to interact with them in order. When you activate the first one, it’ll turn and point towards the second. You just need to follow the pointers and once you interact with the last one, the hunter will spawn.

Construction site hunter – Downtown East

To spawn this one, you’ll first have to go to the south of the Space HQ safe house in Southwest. Jump over the reception desk and head right. Interact with the touchscreen by the door.

Afterwards, you should travel to the construction site in the north part of Downtown East, a bit west from the control point. Climb up to the upper level of the construction and press the button on the pole there. Make sure it’s night before you do, though.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to activate five floodlights on the construction site, in order. First go to the one in the pit, next to the excavator. Then head up the path to the opposite side and interact with the one there. Head right and turn on the one next to the yellow scaffolding. Turn left and go to the one by the black truck, near the entrance. The last one is the one by the stack of blue pipes. After you’ve activated all five, head back to the one with the flickering light and activate that (between the platform with the button and the excavator). If you’ve done it correctly, the hunter will spawn. If you miss one, the others will turn off, and you’ll have to restart this portion. (Thanks to Dakota and Basudo for the corrections).

National Building Museum hunter – Judiciary Square

The first step for spawning this hunter involves going into the sewer in the northeastern corner of Downtown West, east of the control point. Turn left at the first intersection and go all the way to the grate. Shoot the fuse box through it, then go the other way. As you pass the black tarp, turn left and shoot another fuse box through the grate.

Go back towards the first grate and go through the door under the red light. Cross the room and go up the stairs, then through the hole in the wall. Turn right immediately and shoot at yet another fuse box through the grate. Go the other way and keep your eyes on the right. As soon as you pass the next grate, look for another fuse box behind it.

Go back to the big room you crossed and head into the control room. Interact with one of the big machines by the window, and a nasty chainsaw-wielding enemy will appear in the big room. Defeat him and he’ll drop the National Building Museum Ticket.

Now head into the National Building Museum in Judiciary Square. Get to the main exhibition floor and look for a computer. Use the ticket on it and it’ll spawn the hunter.
