What is Best Main Pawn for a Thief in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

This depends on a couple of factors. You may prefer to have your Main Pawn act as a sort of bodyguard to your Thief, rushing headlong into battle and distracting enemies so that your Arisen can pick them off one by one while they are busy trying to take down your Pawn. If that’s the case, then a Main Pawn with the Fighter Vocation and Straightforward Inclination could be exactly what you’re looking for.

On the other hand, if you want to do all of the dirty work yourselves, but still want a helping hand (or staff), then a Mage Vocation with the Kindhearted Inclination is the way to go.
