How to Increase Carrying Capacity in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Like every RPG player knows, weight capacity is one of those things that can make a game very difficult to play. After all, there’s few things as frustrating as finding a nice item or piece of gear and not being able to pick it up because you’ve exceeded your inventory weight capacity. Or being forced to walk instead of run because you are encumbered from all the things you’re carrying. Since Dragon’s Dogma 2 also has weight capacity, you’re no doubt wondering how to increase carrying capacity in Dragon’s Dogma 2. There are several ways to do this, and we’re going to go over all of them here.
How to Increase Weight Capacity in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
There are two main methods to increase your weight capacity capabilities in DD2. The first of these is by leveling up. Each time that you gain a level, all of your stats – including your Max Encumbrance – are going to increase as well. So you will naturally increase your carrying capacity simply by playing the game and leveling up. This applies both to your Arisen Main Character, as well as for your Pawns.
The second way to increase this stat is to find and consume Golden Trove Bettles. The description for it reads: “A rare beetle that glitters like gold. Consuming it increases the weight one can carry by 0.15 kg. The Arisen’s main pawn can also receive the same effect.” These beetles are very distinct and easy typically easy to spot. They are very large and will typically stand around on trees and similar natural materials, waiting for you to harvest them and pick them up. In the screenshot gallery below, you can see where we found one of these bugs and what it looks like in the game. There may be other methods to increase this stat, but, as of right now, these are the only ones that we have found. We will update this article if we figure out any more.
