Hussars were cavalry units in the 1500s. Polish version of these military units were known for carrying a traditional Polish saber. To get the Hussar sword in Dying Light 2 you will first have to register an account on techlandgg.com. When you enter the game you will have the promotion pop up on your screen with a QR code and a link. Follow this link to Techland’s Dying Light 2 community website. Create an account there, if you don’t have it already. After email verification you should then connect the newly created account with your Steam, Playstation, Epic games or Xbox account. In the top right of the website is your account icon and when you mouse over it you can visit Account Summary. At the bottom of that page is “Connect Platforms” and by clicking on the corresponding platform icon you will connect the account.

Once you connect techland.gg account with the platform on which you play Dying Light 2 go to the notifications section of the website. Hussar sword promotion should be there. Click on claim the Hussar sword and that should be it. The brief message that shows up says: “Your reward will be waiting for you in the item stash once you complete the Prologue”. You now have to go in-game to get the Hussar sword in Dying Light 2.

Where to find the Hussar Sword and how to unlock it in Dying Light 2

Once you’ve claimed the Hussar sword reward on the Techland community website you have to unlock the item in-game. To do so you need to finish the Prologue of Dying Light 2 first. This is after you meet Hakon. You, then, need to reach your player stash. These are found in most safehouses and major hubs. At the beginning of the game the best place to find one is the Bazaar. Look at your map and zoom in to see a green icon of a bed and a stash next to it.

Once you reach your stash and open it then you need to click on the Extras tab at the top of the screen. You will see outfits and other goodies that you might have gotten for pre-ordering the game. On the left of that screen there are several icons and one of them is weapons. Click on the weapons icon on the left. Now click on the special token in the inventory and that will redeem the hussar sword. It will now be in your stash. Click on it to move it into your inventory.
