Fallout 76 Mischief Night Seasonal Halloween Event Announced

‘Tis the season to be spooky. Naturally, live services of all shapes and sizes are getting in on the fun, and Fallout 76 is one of them. According to the announcement, the Mischief Night event will take place from October 29th, 12 PM EDT, and end on November 5th at the same time. The event will start “every hour, on the hour.” You’ll be able to fast-travel to it for free, since it’s a Public Event. But what’s actually gonna happen in the Mischief Night? Well, let’s get into that.

The post describes the event’s setup as such: “JES-2R, an Eyebot that seems to have had a few wires knocked loose, is planning to gather up groups of devious Dwellers to run wild at the Whitespring. Gather with other troublemakers at the Mischief Pyre near the Springhouse Gazebo for an explosive tour of the resort’s park, cottages, and of course, its immaculate Courtyard.” You’ll be “blowing up cars, expressing your artistic side on walls, and forking the lawns, among other activities.” Also, there will be candy bowls that might drop a treat, or harm you with a trick. Oh, and the Whitespring’s Elite Security Force might get involved at some point.

Then, of course, we have the rewards: “If you and your groupmates manage to meet JES-2R’s mischief quotas, you’ll get some XP and loot, including a chance for new themed items, like costumes, jack-o-lanterns, and more.” Plus, if you wear your favorite costume, be it crafted or a Fasnacht Mask or obtained otherwise, you’ll earn “double progress toward your objectives and unlock exclusive themed rewards.” And, that’s about it. Happy Halloween, Vault Dwellers.
