Far Cry 5 Season Pass Details & Story Trailer Revealed

Far Cry 5 is coming out on March 27th, on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. So, naturally, as the release date is slowly approaching, Ubisoft has detailed the contents of the Far Cry 5 season pass. They announced it on the Ubisoft website. And, as it seems to me, the content of the season pass seems kinda interesting.

The first episode, or adventure, if you prefer, will go by the name of Hours of Darkness. It will take you to Vietnam during the war and pit you against the Vietcong. A touchy subject, so I hope that they do it justice. After that, there’ll be Dead Living Zombies. Yes, it’s zombies, hooray. However, the post does say that they’re going to include “a variety of B-movie scenarios”, which does sound right up my alley. Last, but not least, is the Lost on Mars episode, where you’ll be battling “arachnids on the Martian surface.” If all of these DLCs bring on the goofy cheesiness and satire, I’ll be all about them.

If you choose to pick up the Far Cry V season pass, you’ll also get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition (single player content only). It’ll be available four weeks before it comes out on PS4 and Xbox One as a standalone purchase in the summer. PC players will also get Far Cry 3, but only with Far Cry 5 Gold Edition or the season pass, it seems. All that being said, Far Cry 5 also got a story trailer, telling us a bit more about the setting, the death cult, and its leader. You can check it out below.
