Fortnite Halloween 2022, Release Date for Fortnitemares Event
It’s October, and we all know what that means. That’s right, it’s almost time for Halloween. Of course, plenty of online games also feature Halloween-themed events. Naturally, Fortnite is one of them. The Fortnitemares event is almost here, and we have the release date for this Fortnite Halloween 2022 event right here. Read on to learn everything that we currently know – and suspect – that this event is going to bring to the game.
When Does Fortnite Halloween Event 2022 Start?
The Fortnite Halloween Event 2022, once again called Fortnitemares, is scheduled to start this Tuesday, October 18th, 2022. Since there is server maintenance planned for that day, the Fortnitemares is most likely going to begin in the game as soon as the downtime is over. The expected time for the beginning of the event is 6 AM PDT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST.
We still don’t know a lot about this upcoming event, since developer Epic Games haven’t told us anything substantial about it. At least, nothing official as of yet. There are several leaks, though you should always take these with a grain of salt. And while these are from proven leakers with a good track record when it comes to the veracity of their findings, there’s always a chance that the leaks in question turn out to be completely false or misleading.
Twitter user and famous Fortnite leaker HYPEX has shown several images that are supposed to be from the upcoming Fortnitemares event. The most interesting of these shows an upright scythe in front of a full moon on a dark and spooky night. Very appropriate for Halloween. Also, there are rumors floating around that one of the new skins that are going to be available as part of this Fortnitemares is none other than one of the most famous horror icons of all time – Freddy Kruger. In any case, we are going to find out very soon whether this is true or not.
