If you want to play Fortnite Battle Royale on your mobile device, well, you’ll have to wait a while longer. But, you can now register for the iOS version of Fortnite BR to receive an email invite once the game is up and running. There will be several waves of invites, so don’t worry if you don’t receive one in the first go. Plus, you’ll get a few extra codes to send out to friends. Unfortunately, as we’ve pointed out before, Android users are out of the picture for the time being.

On the other hand, anybody that owns an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad 2017 running iOS 11 will be able to play when the game goes out. When it does, you’ll be able to jump into PC or PlayStation 4 queues. The opposite won’t work; PS4 and PC players won’t be able to enter mobile queues.

And, now that the sign-ups are live, Epic Games has decided to show off more of Fortnite BR on mobile devices. So, they released a new trailer for the mobile version of the game. Most of the video is your standard Fortnite gameplay, but there are a couple of instances where we see the gameplay on an actual mobile screen. We can see how the on-screen controls. For example, you’ll walk around by moving the on-screen joystick. Several other controls, like jumping, crouching, and so on, are also on the screen. It seems a little cluttered and complicated, to be honest, but I’m sure dedicated players will master them.
