Fortnite Mythic Weapons Season 4
There are several new mythic weapons in Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale. They’re all part of the Marvel crossover, so they’re based on the powers of some of the heroes and villains found in their comics. Where are all the mythic weapons in Fortnite season 4?
So far, we’ve seen four of them:
- Silver Surfer’s Board – Allows you to fly for a while
- Groot’s Bramble Shield – Lets you curl up in a ball and roll around destroying stuff
- Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntles – Allow you to shoot green lightning
- Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb – Explodes and does fire damage
You can get both Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets and Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb from the man himself. You’ll find Doctor Victor Von Doom as an NPC at Doom’s Domain, the new location.
The other two mythical weapons, Silver Surfer’s Board and Groot’s Bramble Shield are random drops. You can get them from Stark robots and drones that appear at Quinjet landing sites. The drones seem to drop them more often – the little red boxes that float high above the ground. You’ll have to deal with the robots either way, since they’ll try to kill you.
You can carry more than one at a time, which is pretty useful. Also, they all operate on a cooldown, so you won’t be able to spam them. You’ll have to have normal weapons in your inventory as well, at least if you’re trying to win. It’s a pity you can’t spend the entire match rolling around in a ball made of roots and twigs, running over people and tearing down their buildings.
