Fortnite Refer a Friend

The Reboot-a-Friend system, now called Refer-a-Friend, has made its way back to Fortnite. If you have already played this in Chapter 2 Season 5 (way back in 2020), then you already know the basics of it. As the name suggests, what you need to do here is to refer a friend to Fortnite. When you do that, you will get some great prizes for doing so. Of course, while this is the gist of it, there are some other things you will need to keep in mind here. In this Fortnite Refer a Friend 2022 guide, we will go over this event, explain how to participate in it, how long it will last, and what you can get out of it.

All About the Refer-a-Friend System in Fortnite 2022

To be able to participate in this updated Reboot-a-Friend system, you will need to invite eligible Fortnite friends to play with you. Eligible, in this case, means that they have played less than 120 minutes of Fortnite in one of its core modes (Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squad) in the last 30 days. Apart from that, the other requirements are pretty much the same as with any other Fortnite event, so it’s prohibited to players over 13, and it is not open to players from the Crimea region, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria. According to prominent Fortnite leakers, the next reward for Fortnite’s Refer-A-Friend program is the Xander skin. To be able to get this skin, you will need to do the following:

• Invite up to five eligible friends through the Refer-A-Friend program.
• After they have accepted your invitation, team up and play Fortnite with them.
• Complete various challenges together and soon, you will be able to unlock the Xander skin itself as well.
