The much-anticipated Genshin Impact 3.1 update is almost here. As is usual with every update, we can expect to see the usual assortment of new content added to the game. This includes new characters, quests, features, areas, and other such improvements and additions. So if you are interested in learning the exact release date and time for Genshin Impact 3.1, as well as how long the downtime is going to last and all the new things we will be able to play in this update, then read on.
When Does Genshin Impact 3.1 Update Start
The Genshin Impact 3.1 update is scheduled to begin this Wednesday, September 28th (or Tuesday, September 27th, depending on the region you are currently residing in), 2022. Of course, in order to update the game to this latest version, the servers are going to have to be down for maintenance for a couple of hours. Five hours, to be precise. Though, if there are any problems with the update, this may take longer. In any case, let’s see when this downtime is going to start and end.
For the US, server downtime is going to begin at 3 PM Pacific Time / 6 PM Eastern Time and conclude at 8 PM Pacific Time / 11 PM Eastern Time on September 27th. As for Europe, the update downtime is going to occur from 12 AM until 5 AM on September 28th. Players in the UK are going to experience downtime starting from 11 PM on September 27th and ending at 4 AM on September 28th. And, as usual, players are going to be compensated for this downtime period.
Once the downtime ends and you are once again able to log into the game, you will find a minimum of 300 Primogems in your in-game mailbox. Note that you need to be at least Adventure Rank 5 to qualify for this. As for the Genshin Impact 3.1 Banner Schedule, we have a separate guide on all the characters that are making their debut in 3.1, as well as returning ones.
