The Genshin Impact Search for the Ward in the Jakotsu Mine puzzle is what you’ll have to solve in order to complete the Orobashi’s Legacy Part III quest. On your journey, you have solved similar puzzles, but that’s no guarantee you won’t get stuck. Plus, once you do solve it, there’s still the matter of where to find yet another Warding Stone and Rock Pearl. That’s why we’ll be covering all these points in our Search for the Ward in the Jakotsu Mine – Puzzle Genshin Impact guide.
How to Solve Genshin Impact Search for the Ward in the Jakotsu Mine Pillar Puzzle
To solve the pillar puzzle in the Genshin Impact Search for the Ward in the Jakotsu Mine step in Orobashi’s Legacy Part III, you need to aim the floating pillars at each other so that the little purple pulse can travel down to the water dome blocking access to the Narukami Pillar. It’s the same process as in Orobashi’s Legacy Part I and Orobashi’s Legacy Part II. You have to start from the top of the hole where the dome is, and then lead it across all seven pillars, down to the dome. In the image, you’ll see which order you should do this in. Mind you, the sixth pillar is actually below the cliff we’ve marked with the number.
After you do all this, drop down to the Narukami Pillar and have a “chat” with it. Then, use your elemental sight to locate the missing components. The first one is in a cavern to the northeast, inside the electric dome. Bring it down by summoning an Electrogranum from its nearby spawn point after defeating the mage. After picking up the Pearl, go back to the ward and head northwest, up the steps. Follow the elemental trail to the surface and yet another electric dome. Dispel it and collect the Warding Stone. Take both to the Narukami Pillar to complete this quest step.
So, that’s how you complete the Search for the Ward in the Jakotsu Mine puzzle and quest step in the Genshin Impact Orobashi’s Legacy Part III quest.
