Genshin Impact has a new web event in store for its many players. Called Tales of the Youkai, this event will see you and Paimon together in a restaurant in Inazuma, where you will write Youkai-themed stories. Youkai (also spelled Yokai) are spirits and other supernatural beings from Japanese mythology, so these stories have a spooky flare to them. Of course, since this is Genshin Impact, after all, these never veer into outright horror. How to Start and Play Tales of the Youkai Web Event in Genshin Impact

The Genshin Impact Tales of the Youkai Web Event is going to be playable from Wednesday, December 21st, 2022, until Friday, December 30th, 2022. To be able to play it, you will need to have reached at least Adventure Rank 30. Next, go to this link, log in using your miHoYo account (or UID, if playing on a PlayStation), and press Enter the Event to start playing it.

Get Inspirations and write appropriately-themed Youkai stories. These Inspirations will refresh each day, allowing you to do every task for this web event and to collect all of the rewards for it. Speaking of which, let’s see what these are in the next section.

Genshin Impact Tales of the Youkai Web Event Rewards

Once you complete this web event, you will be able to get the following rewards from it: x120 Primogems, x10 Hero’s Wit, x100.000 Mora, and x5 Mystic Enhancement Ore. Don’t forget to claim these rewards and you will then receive them in the form of an in-game mail.
