Thunder Sojourn Weaving Lightning Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Thunder Sojourn Weaving Lightning is the third step in the event, and it’s very combat-heavy. It’s all about linking your character up with the Nimbus Gems in order to gain buffs and complete tasks more efficiently. It’s a relatively simple matter, but I can see some of you getting stuck trying to figure it out. With that said, here’s our Genshin Impact Weaving Lightning guide to help you on your way.

Genshin Impact Weaving Lightning Thunder Sojourn Event Guide

Weaving Lightning is the third step in the Genshin Impact Thunder Sojourn event, and you get it from the same person as the previous ones, aka Muzhen, in Ritou. When you arrive to the challenge area, you’ll see three purple crystals, aka Nimbus Gems. You can link your character to them as long as you have an Electrogranum active, or are under the Electro element’s effects (and are near enough). The more crystals you link up to, the more buffs you get.

  • One crystal link – Energy regeneration that is constant and increases the more crystals you link to
  • Two crystal links – Elemental burst damage increased
  • Three crystal links – All abilities create a shockwave with AoE effects

Naturally, you want to keep linked to as many crystals at a time as you can be in order to make things easier for yourself. Plus, you need to be linked with a certain number of crystals to complete specific challenges. Keep in mind that, depending where the challenge spawns, you might not always be able to do the challenges. So, if you really want to clear out the Genshin Impact Thunder Sojourn Weaving Lightning event step, you’ll definitely have to play it several times.

Other than that, the process is simple. Complete the tasks from the list in the event screen to earn Primogems, Mora, and Thunder Pellets. You spend the pellets in the event shop to purchase various gem fragments and other useful items. If you’re even remotely familiar with Genshin Impact and its events, you know how it works. Good luck!
