How to Use Ayesha's Chaos Prospector Genshin Impact

You need to know how to use the Genshin Impact Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector gadget in order to complete the Shadow of the Ancients quest. The new gadget is one of the more fun mechanics in the game, because it shows you the way towards hidden items, such as the Conduction Components. However, the Prospector is a little difficult to figure out when you first try to use it. Genshin Impact How to Use Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector

To use Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector in Genshin Impact, the first order of duty is to equip it. Go into your inventory and tab over to the Gadgets section. Find the Prospector and equip it by clicking the button in the bottom right corner. Next up, head to one of the search areas where you can find the Conduction Components (the yellow circles on your minimap), which is the main point of the Shadow of the Ancients quest. Once you step into one of the search areas, place one of the Prospector gadgets. It will emit a beam of light in the direction of something hidden. Go ten or so paces in that direction, and then drop another Prospector. Keep doing that until you find a thin pillar of light emanating from the ground. That’s how to use the Genshin Impact Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector item. All that’s left to do is to investigate the pillar of light and see what you get. Rinse and repeat until you find the Conduction Component.

With all that said, there is one important point to bring up. You can have three Prospectors active at the same time. When you place one for a fourth time, the first one that you placed will disappear. So, technically, you can place as many of these gadgets as you want, but you can only have three active at the same time. You’ll see what I mean when you first use them.
