Who Wields the Wild Wind Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Who Wields the Wild Wind is a minor quest that you can complete, and doing so grants you a bunch of really good prizes. The quest itself is relatively simple, but the problem is that the wording is very vague. It tells you to go looking for clues, but that’s not at all what you’re supposed to do. The mission is actually way simpler than it seems. We’ll explain the whole thing in this guide.

How to Complete Genshin Impact Who Wields the Wild Wind Quest

To complete the Who Wields the Wild Wind quest in Genshin Impact, you have to climb to the tops of the three mountains in the area, defeat the enemies you find there, and maybe even open the smaller chests. Well, that last point is not necessary, but why waste the opportunity? After you do that on all three mountaintops, go back down to the chest, defeat the boss, and then open the chest to receive your prize. That’s the short of it; now for the long of it.

The first step of the quest, which activates when you find the chest, tells you to “head up the mountain and continue searching for clues.” There are, in fact, no clues to find. Just climb up any of the three mountains and start wailing on the enemies until a brief cutscene showing the chest’s shield breaking plays. You can keep fighting at that point, but you don’t have to. Then, simply do the same thing on the remaining two mountain tops, and that’s how you complete the Who Wields the Wild Wind Genshin Impact quest.

If you’ve done everything properly, the shield protecting the chest on the ground will disappear, but there will still be a red ring around it. Head down there, and a huge boss will spawn. All that’s left to do at that point is beat the big bad guy, and the luxurious chest is all yours. We got ten Primogems out of it, as well as two Hero’s Wit, Berserker’s Rose, Instructor’s Feather Accessory, a whole bunch of Mora, etc.
