How to Get Past Two Blue Poison Plants in Western Barri Woods God of War Ragnarok

To get past the two blue poison plants in Western Barri Woods in God of War Ragnarok, you need to freeze both of them. By now, you know that the Leviathan Axe can stop the plants from emitting clouds of poison. You just have to throw it at the purple bulbs at the top of the plant. The issue here is that there’s two of them, and you only own one axe. Well, that’s where Freya’s newly-unlocked powers come into play. First off, freeze the plant on the left, since it’s closer. Keep aiming at the bulbs and command Freya to shoot an arrow at it. This will keep it frozen even when you pull the axe back.

The next step to get past the two blue God of War Ragnarok poison plants in Western Barri Woods is to summon the axe back and quickly throw it at the plant on the right. Once both plants are frozen, sprint through to safety. Mind you, the effects of Freya’s arrow don’t last forever, so you don’t want to dilly-dally. Ideally, you want to use the arrow to freeze the first plant, get the axe back, freeze the second plant and run through as fast as you can. I mean, Freya’s magic gives you a decent amount of time to pull this off, but don’t take it for granted. The last thing you want is to suddenly get caught in a cloud of poison that kills you in a matter of seconds.
