How to Get Elevator Legendary Chest Temple of Light in God of War Ragnarok

During your adventures in God of War Ragnarok, your destiny will lead you to the Temple of Light in Alfheim. This gorgeous and mystical place will mesmerize you with its beauty. However, don’t be fooled, it’s also an ancient powerful place. And both Light and Dark Elves have their interests in it. After you, Tyr, and Atreus deal with some uncooperative elves, you’ll be able to freely explore the central area. Go up the stairs and go through the door which will bring you to the side area. When you see a Light Door, turn left and go down. And there, a GoW Ragnarok Temple of Light elevator puzzle will wait for you. That is, if you want to reach the Temple of Light Legendary Chest.

Gof of War Ragnarok Temple of Light Elevator Puzzle Solution

The puzzle is fairly simple. You’ve already previously encountered Twilight Stones (Purple Crystal) before. You know that they interact with your axe by bouncing it off in the other direction. Thus, you’ll have to use a Twilight Stone (Purple Crystal) here in order to do some geometry and hit the right spot. By doing it, you’ll eventually manage to bring the lift down and reach the Temple of Light Legendary Chest. So, what do you need to do? As hinted by Tyr, the white marble behind the grate which shrouds the lift is a key to the puzzle. However, some players might be confused by that “wall” part.

The stone surface behind the Twilight Stone is also rather bright and some might mix it up with the “white marble wall” Tyr mentioned. What you actually need to do is to hit a marble stone behind the lift. You can do this by using your Axe. If you hit the Twilight Stone under the proper angle, the axe will bounce and stuck into the marble. What you then need to do is to use the chains again and move the elevator so that the metal ring with white runes above the lift is right between you and your axe (which is stuck into the marble).

Now let Kratos call his axe back into his hand. And on its way back, the axe will hit the ring above the lift, which will break it, and the lift will fall down. And that’s it. That’s the solution for the Temple of Light elevator puzzle in GoW Ragnarok. Now simply go down to the lift, open your Temple of Light Legendary Chest and enjoy your reward – the Hilt of Gram relic!
