Gotham Knights is named because you play as one of the four Gotham Knights characters. These are – Robin (Tim Drake), Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), Red Hood (Jason Todd), and Nightwing (Dick Grayson). Once you select your main character, you may be wondering whether or not you are able to change to another one. Not to fear, since this is definitely possible, and we are going to show you how to switch characters in Gotham Knights right here. Also, we are going to answer the question of whether or not you can play as Batman in Gotham Knights.
How to Change Characters in Gotham Knights
Once the game starts, you will be presented with a choice of which character to pick. Incidentally, if you were wondering which character you should choose, we have a separate guide on the best character choice in Gotham Knights. Once you get to play as the starting character, you will no doubt want to know how to then switch to another playable character. Luckily, you’re not stuck with your starting choice, as you can pretty easily change to and from all four characters in the game. To do this, all you need to do is go to your base of operations – the Belfry.
When you get there, then choose one of the other three characters that you want to switch to. Simply stroll over to their suit in the display case and you will be given a prompt to switch to that character.
Can You Play as Batman in Gotham Knights?
Another question that plenty of players have been asking is whether or not you are able to play as Batman in Gotham Knights. After all, Gotham is synonymous with Batman and all of the four Gotham Knights have trained under him. Well, unfortunately, you won’t be able to play as Batman. Of course, a DLC that adds this option could be released at a later date. But as of now, Batman is off the table in GK.
