The pre-order bonuses, as well as the Standard, Gold and Ultimate editions of Battlefield 2042 have been increasingly interesting for the player base as the launch date comes closer. People are wondering which Battlefield 2042 edition to buy, what’s in the Deluxe edition and Collector’s edition, aka Gold and Ultimate, etc. Well, that’s entirely up to you. Battlefield 2042 Pre-Order Bonus List

There are four pre-order Battlefield 2042 bonuses you can get for purchasing the game ahead of launch. The first one is early access to the open beta, which should drop at some point in September. Then, there’s also the Baku ACB-90 melee takedown knife, the “Mr. Chompy” epic weapon charm, and the “Landfall” player card background and “Old Guard” tag. This is also all you’re going to get if you choose to purchase the Standard edition of the game, which will cost $60 on all platforms except PS5 and Xbox series S/X, on which it will cost $70. Battlefield 2042 Standard, Gold, Ultimate Editions

The Standard, Gold and Ultimate editions of Battlefield 2042 go up in price, but also give you more stuff, as usual. As I’ve laid out before, the Standard edition comes with nothing but the pre-order bonuses. So, that’s barely the price of admission, if you will.

In the Gold edition of the game, aside from the stuff mentioned above, you’ll get early access to the game (apparently from October 15th) and the Year 1 Pass Pack. This includes four new Specialists (one per season), four battle passes (one per season), and three Epic skin bundles. It’ll cost you $90 or $100, depending on the platform.

Lastly, there’s the Ultimate edition. This one comes with everything from the Gold edition, plus the official digital artbook, the exclusive digital soundtrack, and the Midnight Ultimate Bundle. The latter features the “Shadow Stalker” Legendary outfit, “Obsidian” Legendary weapon skin, and “Onyx” Legendary vehicle skin. It’ll set you back $110 or $120, again, depending on the platform.
