There seem to be several ways to fix the stuttering performance issues in The Callisto Protocol. First off, according to several players including MeatyDoubleSlap on the Steam forums, running the game using DirectX 11 instead of 12 helps. They are apparently running the game “maxed out with 100+Fps no stutters or anything.” Another thing that seems to help is playing around with the visual settings. According to Reddit user callme_e (and several others), you should cap your FPS to 60, turn motion blur and depth of field off, and use medium presets. Your mileage may vary depending on what your rig can do, so again, experiment and see what works for you.
