Cookie Run Kingdom Master Mode

The Cookie Run Kingdom Master Mode is the newly added, most challenging “version” of the game. The developers introduced it in the new Heroes of Light update. While these new levels are really, really difficult, the rewards are worth the trouble. From these chapters, you can earn things like Sugar Crystals and Soulcores, the latter of which are materials used in the new Ascension mechanic. So, let’s get into the details, shall we?

Master Mode in Cookie Run Kingdom

The Cookie Run Kingdom Master Mode is the hardest mode in the game at the moment. Well, hardest in the Story mode, anyway. In order to unlock these levels, you first have to beat World 10 in Story mode. Then, you need to complete the chapters available in Master Mode (which is up to Chapter 4 at time of writing) in Dark Mode. So, that’s already a tall order, but if you can’t pull it off, you have no business messing with Master Mode anyway.

Now, there are several catches to this mode. For one, all the monsters are stronger, both in what they can deal and what they can take. On top of that, the levels have modifiers to make your life that much harder. For example, your shield capacity might be reduced or the duration of summoned creatures might be decreased. You are going to have to plan each encounter around these, and probably try each level several times before you manage to pull it off. Here are a few tips to hopefully help you on your journey.

How to Beat Master Mode in Cookie Run Kingdom

To beat the Master Mode in Cookie Run Kingdom, you will have to adjust your approach for every level, more or less. However, it does seem that having a mass of summoners do manage pretty well in these extremely difficult circumstances. Of course, you’re still going to need a healer or two to keep them alive. A team consisting of Crunchy Chip, Cotton, Pumpkin Pie, Oyster, and/or Pure Vanilla should do pretty good, for example.

Alternatively, you can go for really heavy hitters and put Tea Knight and/or Wildberry up front, along with Crunchy Chip. Put Sea Fairy in the back and Clotted in the middle, possibly along with Eclair or someone similar. This team hinges almost entirely on the tank up front, so it’s risky but it can work. Another good team is Wildberry, Clotted, Eclair, Oyster and Cotton, for example. Don’t forget to build them all up with appropriate toppings and make sure to choose your Treasurers carefully.
