Coral Island Marriage 1.0 Guide
The full release of Coral Island is finally out. Naturally, a lot of new things have been added to this v1.0, and one of these new features is the ability to marry and start your own family. As of right now, there are 28 characters that you can romance, date, and eventually marry. Though, there are several things that you’ll need to know about how this feature works and what it entails. We are going to cover everything that you need to know about it in our Coral Island Marriage 1.0 Guide.
How to Marry in Coral Island 1.0
To marry someone, you will first need to upgrade your house to Level 3. Then, get a romancable character to 8 Hearts, and gift them with the locket to unlock the romance itself, and get the relationship to 10 Hearts. See all the cutscenes with them and propose to them with the ring. After that, you’ll also be able to have children with that character. For this, upgrade your house to Level 4. Then, from time to time, your spouse is going to ask you if you want to have a child with them. Answer yes, and you will get a kid. As of right now, you can have up to two children. Note, however, that these won’t grow up until a future update and until then, they will remain infants.
Coral Island Marriage Candidates
Currently, there are 28 characters in the game that you can romance. You can romance everyone regardless of your gender. Though, as we’ll see, this does not mean that you can marry all of these characters. Every one of them is planned for you to be able to marry them, but this may be added in a future update. Can You Marry Derek in Coral Island?
Derek is a very popular character in Coral Island. Unfortunately, he isn’t one of the characters that can be dated and married in the game. Of course, it’s always possible that he is going to be added as a romance option in a future update to the game.
Can You Marry Merfolk Characters?
While Merfolk characters are classified as romancable characters, the option to romance and marry them has not yet been included to Coral Island. But it is confirmed that this is a feature that is going to be added sometime – hopefully soon.
Can You Divorce in Coral Island?
It doesn’t appear that this is an option in the game. As is the case with Derek, the devs may add this feature if there is enough player demand for it.
