Find and Kill Kaylessa - The Outcast Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is full of quests, and one of these is called “The Outcast”, in which you will be tasked to find and kill Kaylessa. However, like many other things in Pathfinder WotR, this quest isn’t as simple as it first appears. In fact, there are many things to consider here and what you should ultimately do regarding her fate. Where to Find Kaylessa in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
You will receive “The Outcast” quest once you talk to Forn at the Defender’s Heart. He can found in the back room, near the stairs to the basement. After some questioning, he will ask you to hunt down and kill a fearsome cultist called Kaylessa. If your skills are high enough, you will be able to sense that something is off about his request. In any case, Kaylessa herself can be found in the lower-right part of the Market square. We have marked her position in the screenshot below.
Kill or Save Kaylessa in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
You will encounter Kaylessa wounded in the Market Square. When you talk with her, it will become apparent that there is something more to the story, both hers and that of Forn’s. However, currently you just don’t have enough information available and you will have to make a decision on your own. So, what to do with her? It depends on a couple of things. First off, what sort of character you are trying to role-play as. If you are a good-aligned person, your best bet here is to take her up on her word and let her go. But, if you are an evil character – or just one who values their given words or monetary compensation above all else – you can kill her instead.
In any case, there are far-reaching ramifications for either choice. If you spare Kaylessa, her story will continue and you will encounter her several times more during the course of the game in later chapters. If you kill Kaylessa, you will receive a Scroll Of Death Ward as your reward from Forn. Whatever your alignment may be, from a narrative standpoint, it’s more satisfying to see the entire story unfold when you save Kaylessa, and this way you also get to learn the entire truth and why Forn was hunting her in the first place.
