In Guilty Gear Strive, the controller is not working on the PC Steam version, and we have a fix for this issue right here. Some players have reported that Guilty Gear Strive is simply refusing to recognize any controller they connect to their computer. Since this is a very fast-paced fighting game, playing it on the controller is much easier for most players than using a keyboard + mouse combination. Guilty Gear Strive developer, Arc System Works, will probably patch this issue in the foreseeable future. However, until this is resolved, we’ve written this Guilty Gear Strive Controller Not Working Fix guide which should help you resolve this problem.
Controller Not Working Fix Guilty Gear Strive
Like we already mentioned, the controller may not work in the Steam version for Guilty Gear Strive. This doesn’t appear to be a widespread issue, but players have been getting it ever since the game’s release several days ago. As of now, there is just one reliable way to resolve it. Namely, the solution to this problem is to use the Steam Controller to rebind the keys to your keyboard. Restarting the game doesn’t appear to help with this issue, nor does reinstalling it from scratch. While it’s unfortunate that you will be forced to play M+K instead of on your controller if you get this bug, at least you will be able to play the game.
Guilty Gear Strive currently has fifteen playable characters. Of the returning cast we have: Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Chipp Zanuff, Potemkin, Faust, Millia Rage, Zato-1, Ramlethal Valentine, Leo Whitefang, Anji Mito, and I-No. Two brand-new characters have also joined the cast: Nagoriyuki and Giovanna. Five more characters are expected to be released as DLC in the Season Pass 1. Hopefully, the Guilty Gear Strive Controller Not Working Fix will also be released by then. Until then, try our solution to get your game up and running again.
