How to Start Hot Wheels DLC Forza Horizon 5
Hot Wheels is one of the most popular and well-known model car brands in the world. As such, it’s no wonder that the latest DLC expansion for Forza Horizon 5 is Hot Wheels-themed. There’s loads of new content – including some awesome new tracks – in this expansion, making it a perfect addition for all FH (and Hot Wheels) fans. Of course, in order to be able to play this new content, you will first need to start the Hot Wheels DLC in FH5. How to Start Forza 5 DLC Hot Wheels
To be able to play the FH5 Hot Wheels DLC, you need to have the Forza Horizon 5 base game, and to have purchased the Hot Wheels DLC. Note that this DLC is already included with the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition, the Expansions Bundle, and the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. The next step depends on the platform you are playing FH5 on. Most players that have problems with unlocking the Hot Wheels DLC are playing it on Steam. So if you are running it on Steam as well, what you need to do is to restart the Steam app. This will cause the hefty 19.2 GB update to start and after it’s done, you should then be able to play the FH5 Hot Wheels DLC.
If you are playing it on the Game Pass, go into your MS store app and click on it to install it. If it isn’t showing there, restart your computer. You can also go to the library in the MS Store app and then click on the “Get Updates” button. Then, once you are in the updated game, click on the Hot Wheels icon to start the new content. You can find it on the western end of the map, directly below Costa Rocosa.
