Getting stuck on the loading screen is a problem that LoL players have to contend with every so often, and it’s usually connected to the server status. If your League client gets stuck on loading, the cause is probably the devs working on the game, and therefore the servers are down. Is there anything you can do about that? Well, as we’ll see in our League of Legends Loading Screen Stuck – LoL Server Status guide, not really.
League of Legends Server Status
Checking on the server status could give you a clue as to why you’re stuck on the loading screen in League of Legends. Basically, when the developers put out a patch, the servers go down for maintenance, so the loading screen keeps going on and on until the game comes back online. There’s no fix for this, nothing you can do on your end, other than wait for the devs to finish up. You can check the server status on this link, by the way. Just make sure that you select the appropriate region on the right. Aside from that, just be patient.
League of Legends Loading Screen Stuck
If League of Legends is stuck on the loading screen for you, again, it’s probably because Riot is doing something behind the scenes. It’s just maintenance, and you just have to wait until it’s over. Once more for the cheap seats in the back: click on the link above and select your region to keep tabs on the server status. Not a thing you can do other than that.
Of course, the reason for your League client getting stuck on loading could be something on your end. Maybe your internet is wonky, so check your connection. Other than that, you can try exiting the game and restarting your client. Not saying it’ll work, but it’s worth a shot. If all else fails, you might have to contact player support.
