Where is Diamond Dust in Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens

There is no Diamond Dust in Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens. The original plan was to add the new resource to the game in the DLC, but the developers have since decided to scrap the feature. The way it was supposed to work was, you’d buy it from a special NPC called the Smith, or something to that effect. Then, you’d be able to use the Diamond Dust to upgrade the power levels of your gear. However, neither the NPC nor, as we’ve said, the Diamond Dust has found its way to Minecraft Dungeons.

Apparently, Mojang have play-tested the new feature, and the conclusion that they have come to is that it makes the game less fun. One assumes this is because, like in any dungeon crawler, the heart is in the grinding for gear, and the Diamond Dust presumably undercut the whole system. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the developers won’t add the feature at a later time after tweaking it a bit. As of the time of writing, however, Minecraft Dungeons Diamond Dust simply doesn’t exist.

Needless to say, some fans are not too delighted to learn that there’s not going to be Diamond Dust in Minecraft Dungeons. So much so, that some enterprising player decided to create a Change.org petition for Mojang to add Diamond Dust. As I type these words, about 75 people have signed, but the number is climbing steadily.
