Mortal Kombat 11 How to Use AI Fighters in Tower of Time - Koin Grind

An AI fighter is a CPU controlled character in Mortal Kombat 11. The game allows you to let AI fighters take over and play instead of you, but only in certain game modes. This is a great way to grind koins and soul fragments, since you can do something else while the game plays itself. If you’re having trouble finding this option, our guide will show you how to use AI fighters in MK11 Tower of Time.

How to select AI fighter in MK11 Tower?

Contrary to certain rumors, AI fighters are available in both Klassic Tower and Tower of Time modes. Select the mode you want and pick a tower. When you select the character, a pop up will allow you to change the variation. If you look below the variations, you’ll see a button prompt that allows you to switch to an AI fighter. On Playstation 4, it’s square. On Xbox, it’s X.

After you’ve selected the consumables and started the first fight, the game will only need your input between fights. This means you can go do something else while the AI grinds coins and soul fragments for you. The amounts are small, but it’s literally free currency – there is no downside to this method. Since cosmetic items are obtained randomly, you’ll need a lot of coins and other currencies, and this is a great way to get them.

Best AI Fighters

We’ve heard that Liu Kang is the best choice for AI fighters, but we’ve had great success with Sub Zero as well. Both had little trouble clearing the towers, and they even performed fatalities. This can increase the rewards you receive at the end of the fight, but it’s also useful for getting the Mind of the One Being key item, which is necessary for opening up a certain door in the Krypt.
