How to Change NBA 2K22 From Current PS4 To Next Gen PS5

To change NBA 2K22 from current gen to next gen, aka from PS4 to PS5 and back, the first thing that you need to know is that you can only do this if you’re playing on the PS5. It’s basically a way to get the game on PlayStation 4 but then enjoy the full capacity of the PlayStation 5. Think of it as changing the compatibility settings of a program on PC. With all of that said, here are the steps you need to follow. It’s really simple once you know how the system works.

First off, turn on your console and, in the home menu, flick over and highlight NBA 2K22. Press the Options button on the controller to bring up the side menu. Scroll down to “Game Version” and select it. From there, you can freely change from the PS4 and PS5 aka current to next gen in NBA 2K22. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to download them separately, because the two versions have different features, to say nothing of the higher-res graphics and stuff.

And that’s all there is to it. If you need help with anything else in NBA 2K22, we’ve got a number of other guides that you can check out. For example, we’ve written stuff like How to Become Shirtless, Get Free Custom Shirts – Unlock T-Shirt Creator, and How To Change Affiliations. I think you might find some of them useful.
