The server downtime for maintenance in Pokemon Unite is going to take place on September 21st from 2PM to 12AM Pacific Time / 22PM to 8AM British Summer Time. That is a fairly long time for maintenance, no doubt about it, but there’s a good reason. As the tweet announcing the downtime says: “During this time, the game will not be playable while we make adjustments and prepare for the mobile launch.” That’s likely gonna be a lot more people that will be joining the game soon, and from completely different platforms. The release date and time of Pokemon Unite on mobile, aka iOS and Android, is September 22nd at 12AM Pacific Time / 8AM British Summer Time. The launch will be global for Pokemon Unite on mobile devices, and will release everywhere at the same time. I think a rolling launch might have spared the servers some of the overload, but then again, a large part of the planet will still be sleeping at launch, so who knows. But, yeah, in short, if you’re planning to play the Pokemon-themed MOBA on your mobile devices, you’ll have to wait less than a day now. Good luck!
