When is Sims 4 Infants Update Coming Out

The release date and time of the Sims 4 Infants update is March 14th, 2023 at 10 AM Pacific Time / 1 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM British Time / 7 PM Central European Time. That is according to this official post, which also features a handy-dandy countdown that you can follow. This does mean that, if you live in New Zealand, Australia and East Asia in general, the update will launch in the wee hours of the morning for you. By the way, this new content will be an update for the base game, and you can play it on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Mac. It is pretty major update, so do take steps to protect your mods and save files, lest the new content makes a mess of them.

So, yeah, that’s when the Sims 4 Infants update is coming out. As for what new stuff you can look forward to, there’s a bunch. Obviously, there’s the infant life stage, which is a whole new part of your Sims’s life cycle. You’ll have the chance to “create your Infant Sim from scratch, choose new Traits, CAS Items and Clothing and play with the life stage in Live Mode.” It comes after the Baby stage, of course. The update also brings new CAS skin details, including “Stretch Scars, Birth Marks and even Cesarean Scars.” These can be applied to a Sim at any point between Infant and Elder. Another major change is the reorganized Social Pie Menu, which you can learn more about here. That’s all we know about so far, but there’s apparently “more to be revealed.”
