When is 2XKO Release Date?

2XKO, formerly known as Project L, is an upcoming 2v2 Team-based Fighting Game. Developed by Riot Games, the same developer behind the hugely successful League of Legends and Valorant games, 2XKO is going to feature many of the same characters from these games. As for 2XKO itself, it looks gorgeous and appropriately fast-paced. So if you are a fan of classic arcade fighting games from the 90s, then this is definitely a game worth waiting for. Which begs the question – when is the 2XKO release date? In this article, we are going to compile all of the information we have to try and answer this question.

When is 2XKO Coming Out?

Currently, there’s no set release date for 2XKO. However, according to the devs, we can expect to be able to play the game sometime in 2025. 2XKO is going to be available to play on the PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. And while this seems far off into the future, the good news is that there is going to be a playtesting phase for 2XKO before that. This playtesting is scheduled to start at the end of 2024. Note that, even if you have a Riot Games account that you use to play LoL and Valorant, you will still need to sign up again if you want to be considered for playtesting 2XKO.

As of right now, there are only a couple of confirmed Champions. These are Darius, Ekko, Ahri, and Yasuo. But more are bound to be introduced, and soon. But even though there are only five of these at the moment, the game already looks very vibrant and quick.
