How to Use Buddy Pass in Wolfenstein Youngblood?

To use the Buddy Pass in Wolfenstein Youngblood, the friend you want to share the experience with has to download the free trial version of the game. Naturally, if you’re on consoles, both of you are gonna have to have the appropriate online subscription. Also, they need to have the game running for you to invite them. With that out of the way, start the game and select Play Game in the main menu. Then, select Host game, and switch Who Can Join to either Private or Friends Only, or whatever you want. Then, select Use Buddy Pass, then Invite, and choose the friend you want to play with. Boom, you’re on your way.

It bears mentioning that you can use this system to invite as many people as you want; it’s not a one-and-done thing. You can’t play with all of them at the same time, but you can play with more than one person. Also, let’s clear up a misconception I’ve seen floating around. There is no code that you share with the other person. You only invite them through the game.

How to get Wolfenstein Youngblood Buddy Pass?

Sadly, the only way to get the Buddy Pass is to purchase the Deluxe Edition. This has made many people mad, because, well, they wanna play with friends; why would they have to pay more for the privilege? On the other hand, this system does allow other people to play the game without having to buy their own copy. I guess that does make up for the cost at least somewhat.

That said, playing via the Buddy Pass does not mean that the other person is getting a free copy of the game. They can’t play without the Deluxe Edition owner, for one. Consequently, they can’t make any progress whatsoever on their own. Also, they can’t unlock any trophies, or anything. They do still get to, at least theoretically, play through the whole game for free. Just, you know, manage your expectations.
