Halo Infinite Voice Chat Not Working Fix

The Halo Infinite voice chat not working fix is fairly simple, unless you run into it as a bug. How to Fix Voice Chat not Working in Halo Infinite

To fix the Halo Infinite voice chat not working issue, you have to make sure to enable voice chat in the first place. For a lot of people, this option is disabled by default, for reasons that entirely escape me. So, what you need to do is go into the Settings menu. To do that, click on the little gear icon in the bottom right corner of the main menu (or just press the button it shows down there, it’s F1 on PC). This will open the control panel, in which you need to click the Settings option.

Now that you’re in the Settings menu, tab over to the Audio section. Scroll down to the the Communication part and find the Voice Chat Mode option. Switch it to literally anything other than Disabled. Your options are open mic, push-to-talk, and toggle-to-talk. Set it to whatever you want (and play with the other settings as necessary), and you’re done. That should fix the Halo Infinite voice chat not working issue, but not always. I say this, because there does also seem to be some kind of bug that affects player ability to communicate regardless of your voice chat options.

If that starts happening to you, the only thing you can do is try and restart the game, just in case it helps. And, of course, make sure to register a complaint at the Halo Support website. The developers need to be aware of the scope of the issue and fix it as soon as possible.
