Hogwarts Legacy Room of Requirement Chest Behind Boards Puzzle

Figuring out how to get the Room of Requirement chest behind the boards in Hogwarts Legacy is tricky little puzzle. It requires you to move stuff around so that you can get close enough to the chest to get what’s inside. The invisible walls make things significantly more annoying. But you definitely can open the chest near the Golden Snitch, and here’s how to do so.

How to Get Room of Requirement Chest Hogwarts Legacy

To get the chest behind the boards in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, you basically have to solve a relatively minor puzzle using different spells. First off, use Accio or Depulso to move the crate out of your way. Go into the area it was blocking and turn left. Use Depulso on the chest to push it all the way to the opposite wall. Now, go back to the previous area and look through the planks on the left. Use Accio on the crate that the chest is sitting on to draw it all the way to the planks. You could open the chest through that hole, but it’s very finicky to get the angle right. So, I instead recommend going through a few more steps.

The next thing you need to do to get the chest behind the boards in the room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, cast Levioso on the crate and chest to make them float. Then, head back to the smaller area that you revealed by moving the first crate. Use Accio and / or Depulso to place the first crate as close as you can to the now-floating chest. Cast Levioso on the crate to raise it into the air. Once it’s stable, climb onto it. The chest should now be in your reach across the wooden barrier. You might have to move things around a bit still, but that’s the general solution to the puzzle.
