Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed the first four esports events for Injustice 2. Due to Sony’s endorsement across the board, all tournaments will be on the PlayStation 4, which is bound to disappoint some people. The total prize pool adds up to $600.000 across the four tournaments.

The one that is bound to attract most attention is the global Injustice 2 Pro Series, which starts on May 26th and will also be broadcast via Twitch. The finals will happen on September 17th in Los Angeles, where top 16 players from Europe, North America and Latin America will compete for the grand prize.

For the players that won’t or can’t take place in the Pro Series event, they have three regional tournaments set up. First, there’s the GameStop Hometown Heroes tournament for US players, the qualifications for which will begin online on June 4th. Following that are the Regional Finals on August 12th in GameStop stores, while the Final will take place on August 27th in Las Vegas during the GameStop Consumer Expo.

Second, gamers in Europe and Latin America will also get their own respective tournaments. The events will be called Path to Pro and Liga Latina, respectively. For more information on the tournaments, how to sign up and other stuff, check out the Injustice 2 official website. Once again, it seems that all the events will be on the PlayStation 4, due to Sony’s endorsement. Xbox players might have to sit this one out.

Injustice 2 is coming out next week, on May 16th, 2017. You can get it on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android and iOS.
