Injustice 2 Raiden Reveal Trailer Released

After Black Manta, the time is coming close when players that own the Fighter Pack 2 will be able to play as Raiden, so the developers released a reveal trailer. The famous thunder god from Mortal Kombat retains most of his well-known powers in Injustice 2. He can teleport around, blast opponents with various lightning projectiles, and that one move where he flies across the stage into the enemy. You know the one. Of course, all of these moves can serve as combo starters or links, set the opponent up for juggling, and so on.

But it’s the super that really makes Raiden awesome. It’s so beautifully cheesy; you need to see it to believe it. So, first he blasts the opponent, then he teleports behind them, grabs them and flies them off into the sky, where another blast of lightning hits the enemy. When they fly against the full moon, Raiden turns into the dragon from the Mortal Kombat logo, grabs the enemy into his mouth, then slams the opponent into the ground. It’s absolutely glorious.

You’ll be able to play as Raiden starting October, if you own Fighter Pack 2. He also comes with a Premiere Skin, if you own the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2. The alternate skin turns you into Black Lightning, one of the many superheroes from the DC roster. To see both of them in action, check out the full reveal trailer below.
