Just Cause 3 "Who Is Rico" Dev Diary Released
Avalanche Studios and Square Enix have released a dev diary video for Just Cause 3. “Who Is Rico?” tells the behind-the-scenes story of the creation of the main character, the changes he went through between games and his role now that the focus is on him.
Various key figures from the development team have gathered to talk about how they designed Rico this time around, explaining their decision to make him the most important character this time, instead of the world.
They go on to talk about the improved graphical fidelity they’re aiming for this time (they’re using motion capture for the first time), as well as the new toys and how they fit into the premise. The wingsuit looks amazing, and is sure to be a welcome addition to the arsenal.
Just Cause 3 is expected to launch on December 1st, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We can expect more videos of this kind in the coming weeks.
