How to Get Prized Pelt in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

If you wish to make some of the best weapons and armour in the Sunbreak expansion, you will absolutely need to find Prized Pelt. So, how to farm the Pelt in MHR Sunbreak? In order to get as many of these as possible, you’ll need to locate two types of small monsters – Kelbi and Anteka.

However, Prized Pelt is dropped only by Master Rank Kelbi and Anteka. Thus, you first need to have the Master Rank level. If you try to farm them at lowers levels, you’ll only get a Warm Pelt or a High-Quality Pelt. But not the Prized Pelt. There is a 45% chance for Kelbi to drop a Prized Pelt, and an 18% chance to get it from Anteka. Thus, it is far more efficient to farm Kelbi. In this way, you’ll have the best chance to get as many Prized Pelts for the least amount of time.

Kelbi can be found in Shrine Ruins, Flooded Forest, and Sandy Plains. They are rather small and usually hidden within nooks and crannies on the map. Once you locate their spawning point, you can start farming them. To start farming them, simply accept a Master Rank expedition tour, find their locations as we described them, and then simply camp near their spawning point to fill your inventory with the desired item. With that said, our guide is now complete.
