Sinister Cloth Monster Hunter Rise

MH Rise Sinister Cloth is a crafting material that you need to make a specific, fairly powerful and cool-looking armor set. That sounds simple enough, but there’s a problem; the MHR Sinister Cloth doesn’t seem to spawn in any particular place in the open world. Instead, you have to pursue it via different means. We’ll explain how to get the resource in our Sinister Cloth Monster Hunter Rise guide.

Where to Find Monster Hunter Rise Sinister Cloth

To find Sinister Cloth in MH Rise, you actually have to send your Buddies on Meowcenaries missions. Go to the Buddy Plaza and speak with Felyne Chief Kogarashi to do so. However, you can’t just send them on any expedition. Instead, you have to look for missions that have little blue stars in the corner. Even more specifically, when the game shows you the “roadmap” of the expedition, look for one that has sparkles inside the Bone node. Now, what you need to keep in mind is that the Monster Hunter Rise Sinister Cloth is not really a guaranteed drop. However, there are a few things that you can do to increase your odds. For one, you can send several Buddies on Meowcenaries missions; it doesn’t have to be just one.Second, you can give them some Lagniapples to boost their performance. While that doesn’t mean you’ll 100% obtain Sinister Cloth, the odds will definitely be better. Incidentally, you need to use a similar system to get Stargazer Flowers.

In case you’re wondering how to use Sinister Cloth in Monster Hunter Rise, you need it to craft the Death Stench armor. It’s a really great set; it gives you great resistance numbers, as well as increasing your Rapid Morph, Maximum Might, and Dragon Resistance in particular. Not to mention that it looks sick. You’ll need about five Sinister Cloth total, so get to grinding.
