Monster Hunter World Iceborne Rajang Announced

In a previous article, I mentioned how the level requirement for playing Monster hunter World: Iceborne is pretty steep. In essence, you have to complete the story of the main game, and defeat the final boss, because you need to be a Level 16 Hunter. And, well, now we know why. As you can see in the trailer below, Rajang will be one of the monsters you’ll have to battle in Iceborne. The creature will arrive as the first free title update for the expansion, coming in October 2019.

Now, I’m not a fan of Monster Hunter, so I don’t know much about it. However, even I can appreciate that a giant, horned ape with lightning shooting around it can’t be good news. And I’m told that Rajang is considered one of the most devastating, formidable opponents in the game, ever since it debuted in Monster Hunter 2, way back in 2006. It’s fast, nimble, and dishes out a lot of pain. So, yeah; good luck out there, hunters. Prepare to get dunked on.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is coming out on September 6th, 2019, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On PC, the DLC will come out months later; in January 2020, to be more specific, which sucks quite a bit for PC players, but what can you do? Iceborne is gonna be the only expansion for Monster Hunter World; it’s gonna round out the game’s story, as well as add new challenging beasts to batle, such as Rajang, for instance.
