Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord Gear – How to Equip?

To equip gear in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord, all you have to do is click on the item you wish to equip, and drag it to the appropriate slot in the menu, as you can see above. So, chest armor goes on the torso, helmets and the like on the head etc. (those slots are on the left); weapons go into weapon slots on the right, you get the idea. However, this simple, straightforward system has its problems in this mess of a game, causing problems for certain players.

Namely, there’s people for whom the dragging system doesn’t work, in the sense that the item just refuses to go into its slot. If this is happening to you, there might be an easy fix for it. What you need to do is get out of the store window or loot window or whatever it may be. Then, once out in the world, open your inventory and equip whatever it is you were trying to equip. When you wrap that up, don’t forget to hit Done in the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, the changes you’ve made are not gonna count.

That’s basically all there is to it when it comes to equipping gear in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. For more help with the game, we’ve got more guides prepared for you. Among other stuff, we’ve written How to Heal, Army of Poachers & Cattle Quest Bugs, and Best Starting Skills.
