NBA 2K24 is the latest entry in this long-running sports game franchise. And while every NBA 2K title has brought with it various changes and improvements to the gameplay formula. Naturally, NBA 2K24 is also set to continue this evolution. And while we still don’t know what all of these changes will look like, there is one massive difference in the way that it worked in previous titles. Namely, the new Season Pass system. In this NBA 2K24 Season Pass Explained guide, we are going to go over everything that you need to know about this changed SP system.
NBA 2K24 Premium Season Passes
The big change is that there are now two Season Passes that you can purchase. The Pro Pass, which costs $9.99, and the Hall of Fame Pass, which you can get for $19.99. With the Pro Pass, you will get the following: Animated Green Release Arm Sleeve, Checkerboard Striped Short Shorts, Ruby Giannis Antetokounmpo MyTEAM card, Limitless Range HOF Badge, as well as access to 40 premium rewards that you can earn. As for the Hall of Fame Pass, it comes with everything from the Pro Pass, in addition to: 15% XP Booster, 15,000 VC, 10 Level Skips, and 1 Additional reward.
Free Season Pass Changes NBA 2K24
Luckily, there is still the Free Season Pass. Like before, you will be able to advance thorugh levels – starting at Level 1 and ending at Level 40, and earn various great rewards while doing so. Note that MyCAREER and MyTEAM are now going to be combined into one linear progression system. What this means is that, regardless of whether you level up MyCAREER or MyTEAM, you will earn rewards for both of them at the same time. It still remains to be seen how this new SP system is going to work in practice.
