More news on the Dark Souls front. For a franchise that has supposedly packed its bags and is on the way out, there sure is a lot of interesting stuff happening. Yesterday, we got an announcement that Dark Souls Remastered is coming to the Switch, which has since been announced for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Well, the surprises don’t end there. The Dark Souls website has revealed that they’re also releasing the Dark Souls Trilogy box set on May 24th.

Before we begin listing everything in the box set, you should now that, as of writing the article, it’s planned only for the PlayStation 4. So, if you don’t own one, then you might have to give this purchase a pass. That being said, let’s go over the contents of the set. First off, the games. The Dark Souls Trilogy box contains Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades Edition. Then, there’s a six-CD set of the complete soundtracks from all three games. Also in the set are three item encyclopedias, ten art sheets (including a special frame), and two bookends, one with a bonfire, and one with a knight.

For now, the Dark Souls Trilogy box set seems to be coming out in Japan only, for ¥49.800, or $450. There’s no word yet on whether or not the set will be available elsewhere in the world. We’ll be sure to keep you posted, since I’m sure any Souls fan would be more than happy to get their hands on it.
