Destiny 2: The Guardians’ Heart Initiative
Bungie, the developer behind Destiny 2, is joining a fundraiser that will help support healthcare workers from all around the globe. Thanks to the Destiny 2 community, Bungie has raised $350K in the first 24 hours. You can now join this worthy cause as well!
The Guardian’s Heart fundraising initiative and the charity Direct Relief are raising money for supplies used by frontline healthcare workers worldwide. As a player, you can donate at least $20 and gain a special Destiny 2 in-game Guardian’s Heart emblem.
If you are a true gamer, than staying home as a measure of precaution in fighting COVID-19 won’t be hard for you at all. Staying home is more than admirable, but this fundraiser will give you an opportunity to do even more. By supporting this charity, you will acknowledge that the world is dealing with a global healthcare crisis.
Players who wish to donate $20 or more will be able to do so through the Tiltify platform. After that, each donor will receive an email within a week from their donation. In that email, the emblem code and instructions on how to redeem the code on Bungie.net will be included.
According to their own Mission: “Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.“
If you join the Destiny 2 community and donate to the cause, you will earn one emblem per donation. Please note that even if you donate more than $20, you will still earn one emblem. One email address can only earn one emblem.
Bungie has created the emblem in the colors of Direct Relief. The organization will afterward work hard to deliver the supplies to the healthcare workers in need. Some of the supplies will include gloves, masks, gowns, and face shields. Hospitals will receive food covers, prescription medication, portable oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.

– Please visit http://www.bungie.net/redeem and login to your Bungie.net account, or create a new account.
– Enter the unique 9-digit code or codes from your email and click the ENTER button.
– The code(s) you entered will be automatically applied to all linked Destiny 2 accounts.
– Follow the instructions on the website after the code(s) verification to pick up your emblem in-game.
