CD PROJEKT RED is releasing a limited edition custom Xbox One X and controller in June 2020. This is a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired Xbox One X console that “encapsulates the urban decay and vibrant tech of Night City.” The design is carefully chosen so that it would remind users of Cyberpunk 2077’s dark future setting.
Some of the most interesting features of the console include:
– glow-in-the-dark elements,
– custom decorative panels,
– color-shift effects,
– different textures,
– Xbox wireless controller inspired by the character of Johnny Silverhand.
As the Xbox wireless controller is part of the bundle, it is worth mentioning that the design here has also been specifically adjusted. Just like Johnny Silverhand, the controller also represents a design that is half natural, half cyber-enhancement chrome. It can already be bought separately (without the console), so players don’t have to wait for the whole package which will come out later this year. As this design is a collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and Microsoft, the controller can be found and purchased in the Microsoft Store.
Besides the console and controller, an Xbox One digital download code for Cyberpunk 2077 will also be included in the bundle. That will not be all, the publishers are preparing other surprises as well, so stay tuned and follow the news. Don’t forget to follow new developments about Cyberpunk 2077 in order to be thoroughly prepared for the release on September 17th. The game will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the version for Google Stadia, set to launch the same year.
