MK11 Kombat Pack Owners Getting Nightwolf & MK3 Sonya Skin

Good news, Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack havers. Today, you’ll finally be getting your early access to Nightwolf. By early access, I mean that others will be able to buy the character later on. On top of that, you’ll also get a retro skin for Sonya, based on her look from Mortal Kombat 3.

At long last, after weeks of teasing and even people getting angry at Ed Boon for it, it’s time for Nigthwolf to enter the ring. The fierce Native American warrior becomes available for all Kombat Pack owners on August 13th, at 10 AM PT, for “most countries and regions.” According to the announcement tweet from WB Games Support, people playing on PlayStation 4 “using the SIE-Asia store” can begin downloading at noon JST. Those of you that don’t have the Kombat Pack will presumably be able to purchase Nightwolf separately at a later date.

But, that’s not all that those Kombat Pack people are gonna get. On top of Nightwolf, they can also look forward to Sonya’s skin from Mortal Kombat 3. Straight from 1995, that is. This announcement came directly from the Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter. If you’re unfamiliar with Sonya’s retro look, you can see it via that tweet. In short, it consists of a headband, leather gloves, bright green-and-white gym clothes and, if memory serves, white basketball shoes. It’s about as nineties as it can possibly get, so have a taste of that, you whippersnappers. I lived through that! Uphill, both ways! In the snow!

So, that’s it for this round. Coming up next, you’ll be getting Sindel and Spawn. Plus, two more characters, and further skins. Those two mysterious characters are currently TBA, but they’ll reveal them on August 21st. My money is on Terminator and the Joker, but I’d take Micheal Myers instead of the clown prince of crime.
